| Note: I'm still working on determining the source of the properties owned by George W. Turpin. The deed of sale from the George W. Turpin Estate to W. T. Smith in 1936 references 4 parcels being conveyed to Mr. Smith in sizes of 101.45 acres, 67 acres, 10.75 acres, and 6.97 acres. The sources of the the parcels vary, but generally seem to have originated with Thomas M. Turpin. It's not clear what the relationship was between George and Thomas Turpin, but presumably there was one. | |||
